Return & Refund Policy

Returns & Refunds

Our "Ride with Confidence" Guarantee

At The Cycle Lane, we stand behind the gear we sell. We know that as a commuter, you rely on your equipment to stay safe and dry. If your purchase doesn't meet your expectations for fit, quality, or performance, we are here to make it right.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, simply contact us at [Insert Your Support Email Here].

  1. Provide your order number.

  2. Tell us the reason (e.g., "Sizing issue" or "Waterproofing concern").

  3. Once accepted, we will send you instructions on where to send your package.

Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item (e.g., the wrong light mount or bag size), contact us immediately so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. For safety gear, if you believe a product is defective, please stop using it immediately.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want (like a different size of a safety vest) is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

A "Pro" Tip for Dropshippers:

Since your items ship from overseas, having customers ship returns all the way back to Asia is often too expensive for them (and you).

  • The Strategy: Many successful stores offer a "Keep it and get a 50% refund" or "We'll send a replacement for free" option if the item is truly defective. This often costs you less than shipping and builds massive customer loyalty.
